Comme la plupart des écrivains, je prends des notes au fil des jours sur les événements qui constituent la trame de mon existence et de ma réflexion... C'est à la demande de mon éditeur que j'ai pris le parti, dans le tome I, de publier des textes datant de ma jeunesse, de mon âge plus mûr, entremêlés à d'autres rédigés récemment.
Dans le tome II, je recommence ce mélange des époques ou plutôt je le continue. Non sans une certaine appréhension: après la parution du tome I, quelques-uns de mes dires m'ont fait expulser du jury Femina... Ont-ils paru trop vrais ? Toutefois, que serait un Journal qui ne le serait pas ? Et que va provoquer ce tome II ? Il y est encore question d'écrivains, de prix, de littérature mais aussi de bien d'autres choses - comme de l'amour...
