In a vibrant and innovative way, this work aims to understand, from a socio-educational perspective, how the educational process offered to adolescents in conflict with the law has been developing in two educational institutions belonging to the Rio de Janeiro State Department of Education and serving the Degase. The PPPs (School Partnership Programs) of these schools are analyzed, as well as the educational process aimed at adolescents who have committed offenses; the regulatory frameworks that focus on the issue of children, adolescents, and young people, and their evolution over time, highlighting the challenges and contextualizing their importance in the construction of an ideology that has undoubtedly marked society as a whole. All Brazilian Constitutions that have been in force, the two Codes for Minors, the ECA and Sinase, are analyzed, highlighting their specialty in terms of their purpose of safeguarding the dignity of children and adolescents, whether they are offenders or not. Based on authors who discuss socio-education, an investigation is carried out into the process of construction and legal implementation of Degase in Rio de Janeiro.
