Two eccentric secret societies both invent time machines. One British- the SSTL: the secret society of the tea leaf and the other American- the CCC, not to be confused with your local county cricket club it is the Caffeinati Coalition of Caffeine.
Both teams are unaware of each other but eventually clash. It all quickly goes pear shape, mayhem ensues. It quickly descends into chaotic absurdity and hilarity. With unusual encounters with historical characters, not to mention a quest to discover the holy teapot with King Arthur and his knights of the round table!
A mishap with Cleopatra and Mark Anthony sparks the Roman Brew Wars.
The American team lovers of all things devoted to coffee and of course the brits lovers of all things devoted to tea. There are International and Galactic Brew expos with the Intergalactic Beverage Olympics. There are dance offs with Intergalactic judges. It's got original hilarious content.
Green tea is the lifeblood to one alien civilization while green coffee is the lifeblood to another. There are Intergalactic tea and coffee mafia, tea and coffee bounty hunters for key high stakes prominent and political figures!?

It draws on the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Men in Black, Guardians of the Galaxy, Umbrella Academy, Red Dwarf, the Fifth Element and I try to sneak parodies of them all into the book. Needless to say Star Wars and Star Trek get a mention! Not forgetting our good Doctor Who and his Tardis! A nod to the 3rd Rock from the Sun!
