Georgian Poetry 1911 to 1912 is a collection of poems edited by E. M. (Edward Marsh), first published in 1912. The book features the work of a group of British poets who were influenced by Georgian poetry, a movement that emphasized traditional forms and themes, as well as a focus on the natural world and rural life. The poets featured in the collection include Rupert Brooke, Walter de la Mare, John Masefield, and others. The poems range in style and subject matter, from nostalgic reflections on childhood and nature to more political and social commentary. Georgian Poetry 1911 to 1912 is considered a landmark in the history of English poetry, and helped to establish the reputation of the Georgian poets as an important literary movement in the early 20th century. And gold that lies behind the eyes, The unknown unnameable sightless white That is the essential flame of night, Lustreless purple, hooded green, The myriad hues that lie between Darkness and darkness! ...This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
