She travelled extensively as part this impressive career including a crusade to the Holy Land. This volume will try to follow her footsteps until she became Duchess of Aquitaine probably at the age of 15. She was born either in Poitiers or Bordeaux and travelled with her father around his lands as well as vacationed at their castle by the sea.
