Jimmy is a lazy 12 year old boy in the seventh grade. He lacks the motivation of attending classes. He sees learning as a chore and ends up substituting school with playing soccer with his friends. When he submits unfinished work, the English teacher is obligated to give him an F symbol. Jimmy is told to focus on his school work and resubmit an excellent essay that shows he really worked on or else repeat the grade next year. Jimmy ignores the homework to go play soccer with his friends in the park and finds a glowing crystal stone that sends him back in time. Stranded in the wilderness of the nineteenth century, Jimmy must use his knowledge to survive in the wild and find his way back home.
