She believes her son can do no wrong while he takes complete advantage of her. The mother's blind love and devotion to her son has allowed him to flourish in his evil ways. The daughter must respect her mother's choice if she wishes to have a relationship with her and care for her. All the while her mother ridicules and condemns her daughter with stern mistrust. In the end, the ugly truth comes to light and is laid bare. Blind love can have devastating results.
