This new critical commentary and new edition on the book of the prophet Habakkuk excels in contextualized reading. It is about reading the prophet with your feet on the ground. Even though there are many comments about Habakkuk, this new comment is necessary. First, because the text of the prophet so demands. Then, as the reader approaches the text, he will perceive how the biblical texts are politically rooted. Faith in God is manifested in the prophetic actions of everyday life.
