He Kyrou Paideia, or Xenophontis Institutio Cyri Tomis Quatuor, translated as The Education of Cyrus, is a partly fictional biography of Cyrus the Great, the founder of the Achaemenid Empire, by Xenophon. The work explores Cyrus's upbringing and education, portraying him as an ideal ruler and military leader. This fourth volume offers further insights into Xenophon's views on leadership, governance, and moral education through the example of Cyrus. While not strictly historical, the Cyropaedia provides valuable information about Xenophon's political and philosophical ideas, as well as details about Persian culture and customs.
