How will America respond after a devastating terrorist attack striking America's heartland?
During the July Fourth holiday, dozens of American citizens are killed and many more injured after a car bomb is detonated outside the Harley Davidson Museum. A veteran FBI Agent who captured one of the terrorists, Fred Jones, is teamed with a young CIA Analyst, Sophia Evans, and the pair are tasked with hunting down the man responsible.
Amell al-Gahrsi, the leader of a terrorist cell known as the Abyan Islamic Army (AIA), has claimed responsibility for the attack. His stated mission in life is to bring terror to the West. Promising future attacks will unfold.
The thrown-together pair must now race against the clock to stop the AIA and Amell from carrying out his promised mission. All the while overcoming their own personal issues in the process.
Sophia's hidden bout with PTSD from a previous mission that went awry. To Fred's not wanting to retire because it would mean giving up his desire to be a father figure, as he and his wife Sherry were unable to have children.
As the duo uncovers the trail leading to the terrorist's home base, surviving a harrowing car/foot chase through the city streets of Orlando to a daring island incursion, culminating in a firefight in downtown Washington D.C. They discover the real danger to the country may lurk closer to home than either of them are prepared to admit.
