The relevance of historical research, which deals with those individuals who act in the different daily spheres of the past, lies in the need to break with the traditional tendency to interpret historical facts through the great characters who stood out in certain contexts. The biographical and autobiographical genres were once viewed with some suspicion by scientific historiography, due to the great literary load they had in their narratives and self-interested exaltations of great characters; therefore, they were not considered science but art. Breaking paradigms, in recent times, another historical genre is taken into account by researchers to know that past that sometimes escapes those who start from traditional conceptions. The genre of life stories is valued in the scientific field by disciplines such as Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, which in one way or another provide methodological criteria to understand those particularities, the small, the everyday, underestimated by generalizing historians.
