KINDNESS IS SO IMPORTANT
After reading 'Honeycake: Special Magical Powers', me and my 5 year old son took the time to reflect on our most memorable acts of kindness. My son was so happy to learn that he had been using his magical powers all along. The story was so well written with an easy to follow storyline that kept my son intrigued from start to finish. He usually falls asleep mid-story but tonight, he wanted to know how this story ended. I asked him what he liked most about the book, and he said, when Nala shared her toys with the kids that lost theirs in the fire. He loved the book and promises to use more of his magical powers to put a smile on other kids faces. I highly recommended this book to all families as it teaches our children the importance of caring, sharing and of course, kindness.
It's the perfect gift for all teachers and children, preschool through grade 3. It helps caregivers and educators start an age-appropriate conversation on how kindness is caring about others and doing things to help make their lives better. Which allows us to connect with other people and build meaningful relationships. Sometimes we just need a little inspiration to spread some love and kindness in the world and Honeycake: Special Magical Powers does that perfectly!
