The Grand Rotana Resort & Spa 5* hotel is part of a chain of hotels owned by one of the sheikhs of the United Arab Emirates. That is why the lobby, and indeed everything else in the hotel, is decorated in Arabic style. Everywhere there are stained oak wooden grilles decorating large spacious and small niches with sofas, armchairs, and tables with glass tops-for seclusion from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This reflects the Eastern philosophy and characteristics of the Muslim faith of the majority of the Egyptian population. The entire hotel grounds are like a museum of landscape design.
The hotel is located on the Red Sea coastline near a beautiful coral reef in one of the most beautiful bays of Sharm el-Sheikh, Sharks Bay, overlooking Tiran Island, 7 km from the international airport, the Naama Bay entertainment center, and the Old Market.
The dishes in the restaurants are delicious and varied, demonstrating the high skill of the hotel's chefs.
