UNFAIR Laws Across the World
This Guide is based on the TRUTH and REALITY. It is NOT a novel. The Characters in it are REAL people, though most names have been changed for obvious reasons. I have no intention of harming or insulting anyone. Carm's name and my name are, of course, real. Occasionally I use other Real names because they have either agreed to it or because they have passed away and either don't care or won't know about it. An explanation: in the title of this Guide Book, I call Carm 'my wife'. While we have not yet married due to horrible circumstances (which I will go into in many of the chapters below), calling Carm 'wife' is much less confusing than calling her 'Partner'. Some who read the title may think that 'partner' means 'Business Partner' which she is but she's much more than that. Carmel Murray is my missing, loving Legal Partner. I hope that provides an explanation.
Some will ask: Tom, why have you written this? Won't you find it embarrassing to tell a story that is so horrible it almost made you lose your mind and you almost took your life?
The answer, of course, is that I'm writing this Guide to prevent this from happening to anyone who reads this. That includes all those who are married, or have a partner, or a friend, or a loving colleague and are denied access to see them, usually by a relative of that loved one who is suffering from Dementia, Alzheimer's or any other grave Mental Illness (or any illness at all that requires hospitalisation or a long-term stay in a nursing home.
It is also somewhat relevant to those of you who are denied access to your children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren. That happens all the time too particularly when a son or daughter is divorced and, for reasons beyond your control, they deny you access to what could be a long list of relatives.
