...and when it was time to grieve, i was up all night howling like a wolf to the moon. soaked in tears, seeking the warmth of your heart but you weren't home to be found. day after day, i carried myself until the day i started to be warm with myself, learned to live with myself during a rainy season, and taught myself how to treat myself with kindness, love, and respect. so i talked myself into believing that time would help me out of darker places towards the light.

when i lost you, i lost more than just love, i lost a friend, a therapist, i lost home, i lost everything so don't feel pity for me now that i'm falling apart.
