Iamblichus' Life of Pythagoras, also known as Pythagoric Life, is a biographical account of the ancient Greek philosopher and mathematician, Pythagoras. The book was written by Iamblichus, a Syrian philosopher who lived in the 3rd and 4th century AD. The book provides a detailed description of Pythagoras' life, teachings, and philosophy. It covers his early years in Samos, his travels to Egypt and Babylon, and his establishment of a school in Crotona, Italy. Thomas Taylor, a renowned English translator and Neoplatonic philosopher, translated the book into English in the late 18th century.
