I did not even believe in existence; everything seemed to me a dream. my grateful eyes and soul dwelt on that timid ray of light that gently caressed her smooth cheek, reflecting a wonder in my eyes and throughout our room, but you were nothing but a mirage. 14:23. A nameless protagonist awakes from dreams, only to be plunged into a nightmare beyond all conprehension. A surreal, other-wordly novella, In the Name of Imagination tells th tale of a person who wakes to find themself utterly helpless, held hostage by their own imagination. The mundane turns unrecognizable. Nature, darkness, their own reflection; all is suddently corrupted, both wondrous and nightmarish, all while the beautiful specter of past love haunts their every more. As the skin between reality and imagination stretches thinner and thinner, the protagonist must keep their waning grip on reality before it is wrested from them entirely.
