Consider this Roman Catholic prophecy about Charlemagne from the Capuchin friar (18th century).
A scion of the Carolingian race, by all considered extinct, will come to Rome and see and admire the piety and clemency of this Pontiff, who will crown him and declare him legitimate Emperor of the Romans. He will destroy the Ottoman Empire and all heresies .With the help of God and the pope, he will co-operate in the reformation of abuses; he will assume the leadership of temporal governments; he will assign a decent pension to the pope and to the bishops and clergy. And they will all live in peace. which will last until the end of time.
Perhaps the scoffers might doubt and wrongly accuse the Jacobite Secret Society of fabricating all this genealogical lineage back to Charlemagne. It might seem that Prophecies of the Monarch: The Return of Charlemagne, this book, does not definitively and absolutely prove Carolingian descent in Orleans, but we challenge France, the United Kingdom and the Vatican by asking whether the reconstructed Jacobite line in this book can be refuted? Are the Jacobites deceiving mankind? No. The Jacobites here present a hidden genealogical lineage that cannot be completely disproved as false. Maybe it's true? Perhaps a Carolingian offspring lives today in France? That's all that's said. No more no less. Nobody is trying to disturb anyone. Please open your mind to a new possibility that has somehow always existed from the Middle Ages to the present day, especially in the prophecies of many saints and clergy of the Roman Catholic Church.
What happened? How was Charlemagne's kingdom usurped? How were the Jacobites massacred? From within? Someone or some people do not want us to know the true history. Why? It is beginning to become clearer....power struggles and contention. Rollo. Hugh Capet. Napoleon Bonaparte. Bernard of Italy, brothers in arms. Norsemen. Yet, a remnant might remain of Charlemagne.
Read the book, then try to refute it, if you can? We affirm that it cannot be easily refuted and therefore should not be dismissed. There seems to be a higher power at work among mankind that has come down to us throughout history.
As prophesied, although believed to be extinct, the royal descendants of the French monarch Charlemagne live on today as Orleanists!
