It Came To Pass is a novel written by Arthur Wheelock Moulton and published in 1916. The book is set in the United States during the early 1900s and tells the story of a young man named John Stoddard who is struggling to find his place in the world. John is a dreamer and a romantic, but he is also plagued by doubts and insecurities about his abilities and his future. As the story unfolds, John meets a variety of characters who challenge him and help him to grow. He falls in love with a young woman named Ruth, but their relationship is complicated by their different backgrounds and social status. John also becomes involved in a labor dispute and must choose between his loyalty to his employer and his sympathy for the workers.Throughout the book, Moulton explores themes of love, class, and social justice. He paints a vivid picture of life in early 20th century America, with its struggles and opportunities, its prejudices and its promise. The book is a thoughtful and engaging read, offering a window into a bygone era and a timeless exploration of the human condition. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
