Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2023 im Fachbereich Organisation und Verwaltung - Öffentliche Verwaltung, Note: 2,0, Universität Kassel, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit soll anhand der Forschungsfrage Welche Potenziale und Herausforderungen können sich durch Anwendung von Blockchain-Technologien für die öffentliche Verwaltung ergeben? untersuchen, inwiefern die öffentliche Verwaltung von der Nutzung dieser Technologie tatsächlich profitieren kann und wo eine Anwendung gegebenenfalls auf Grenzen stö t. Mittels einer Literaturanalyse werden etwaige Potenziale und Herausforderungen als Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit erörtert. Hierzu folgt zunächst eine Betrachtung der Merkmale und Funktionsweisen, sowie verschiedener Modelle einer Blockchain. Für ein besseres Verständnis von Potenzialen und Herausforderungen werden im nächsten Schritt zwei beispielhafte, praktische Anwendungsfelder von Blockchain-Technologien in der öffentlichen Verwaltung vorgestellt. Schlussendlich werden anhand dieser theoretischen und praktischen Hintergründe verschiedene Potenziale und Herausforderungen abgeleitet.
