Gesù - 'Īsā al-Masīḥ, pace su di lui - pronunciò parole che attraversano i secoli:
Vi lascio la pace, vi do la mia pace; non come la dà il mondo, io la do a voi. (Giovanni 14:27)
Queste parole racchiudono l'essenza del messaggio divino: la Pace che nasce dalla sottomissione alla volontà di Dio.

In arabo, questa sottomissione si chiama Islām, e dalla stessa radice deriva Salām, la Pace.
Tutti i Profeti - da Adamo a Muḥammad ﷺ - hanno portato questo stesso invito alla Pace, testimoniando l'unità del messaggio divino e la continuità dell'amore del Creatore per l'umanità .
Ogni storia comincia prima ancora che la vita si accorga di esistere.
La mia è iniziata, forse, nel momento in cui Allah pose nel cuore umano
il desiderio di conoscerLo, di amarLo, di ritornare a Lui.
Nascere è un mistero, ma rinascere è una scelta.
Il mio viaggio - come quello di molti - è cominciato nella ricerca di senso,
tra le voci della religione, della ragione e del dolore.
Cercavo la verità senza saperlo.
E la verità , quando la si trova, è sempre semplice, luminosa, inevitabile.
Come un raggio di sole che penetra anche le tenebre più spesse.
Ogni passo, ogni caduta, ogni incontro mi ha portato più vicino alla Luce.
E ho compreso che tutte le fedi, in fondo, parlano della stessa cosa:
del ritorno a Dio, il solo che dà pace.
