The Italian Marauders V1: A Romance is a novel written by Matilda, Anna in 1810. The story is set in Italy during the early 19th century and follows the adventures of a group of marauders who are known for their daring exploits and their love of adventure. The main character, a young Englishwoman named Caroline, finds herself caught up in the world of the marauders when she is kidnapped by them and taken to their stronghold in the mountains. There, she meets the charismatic leader of the group, the handsome and mysterious Count Vincenzo, and begins to fall in love with him. As Caroline becomes more involved with the marauders, she begins to see that their way of life is not as black and white as she had initially thought. The novel is a thrilling and romantic tale of adventure, passion, and danger set against the backdrop of the beautiful Italian countryside. In Four Volumes. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
