What do you do when you wake up in the hospital, and can't remember how you got there? At the end of 1999, that's exactly where I was to be found. I was the victim of a hit-and-run, and I had a lot of damage to recover from. The story of my experiences during this part of my life are a little sad, sometimes tragic, occasionally infuriating, disconcerting, but also kind of funny. Within these pages is a whole bunch of crazy stuff that really, truly happened. Through it all I learned that consciousness creates reality. I learned the power of strength of mind, of friendship, of love and more. This is how I coped with an unexpected life event. I share my good and bad choices, telling it as true as I can recall it. I hope that my story might resonate with you in different ways. I also hope that it makes you laugh. If you can't laugh at the absurdity of life, what can you laugh at?
