Her expertise includes seventeenth-century Italian history and literature, alongside a solid record in organizing educational and cultural events.
She is the author of English-language essays (Path of Italian Literature, Correspondences and Parallels in European Literature), as well as of works and short stories inspired by her Abruzzese roots: C'era una volta a Cerchio (original title: Here in Cerchio), Fare storia nel territorio, and A spasso con Silone.
She contributes regularly to international news outlets and academic journals dedicated to the promotion of Italian culture, and she has received major national awards in recognition of her literary achievements and social engagement.
She is the director of the Centro Studi Giulio Raimondo Mazzarino and of the journal La Regione Rivista del Centro Italia.
