Standard Kakuro you already know. Kenkuro is something new - a hybrid never published before this book. It combines the structure of Kakuro (crossword-shaped grid, run totals) with arithmetic operations: cells must multiply, divide, or subtract to meet the clue, not just add.
Kakuro uses addition only. Kenkuro uses any of the four operations - creating an entirely different solving challenge that requires you to think about number relationships in a completely new way.
