Scripture calls us to prioritize the Holy Spirit's guidance over worldly influences. To effectively follow Him, we must cultivate a keen ear for God's voice and promptly obey His lead. Having entered through Jesus, we must intentionally submit to the Spirit's daily direction to stay on the path to abundant life.
This 100-day devotional guides you towards a deeper relationship with God through the Holy Spirit. Our original design, as seen in Adam and Eve, was an intimate bond with the Father, restored through Jesus Christ's sacrifice. However, it's the Holy Spirit who cultivates this intimacy within us.
To foster this closeness, we must seek daily guidance from the Holy Spirit. As our understanding of Him grows, so will our obedience. Paul emphasizes in 2 Corinthians 13:14 the importance of Jesus' grace, God's love, and the Holy Spirit's fellowship. Prioritize the Spirit's presence, communicate with Him, and actively participate in His work.
Building relationships requires time, trust, and open communication. Similarly, growing intimate with God involves spending time with Him, trusting His guidance, and fostering a deep connection. Through the Holy Spirit and Jesus' sacrifice, we can achieve an intimate relationship with God the Father. This book equips you for this transformative journey.
To discern the Holy Spirit's voice, a deep understanding of God's Word is essential. The Spirit will never contradict Scripture or Jesus' character. The more familiar we are with God's Word and Jesus, the better we can recognize and follow the Spirit's promptings.
