I've written a few books on Ladyboys in the past, all of which were actual experiences of my other life while living in Bangkok, Thailand. And if you've read The Mango Resort, you'll remember that I'm Karl and run a small pool resort in Phuket.

Then as I was walking back from the beach just after sunset, I noticed this leather clad guy on a big motorcycle watching me, and the fact he was wearing a full face helmet told me it wasn't looking good. It was only another 500 yards to the resort so as I started walking quickly up the beach road. He slowly followed me until the road was totally deserted and then sped up, he was almost on me when I heard several gun shots and dived behind a car but then he was gone. People came running out of a nearby restaurant but he was well out of sight and I was shaking like a leaf.
