Nineteen-year-old amateur sleuth Kim is bogged down trying to resolve issues for other people while also trying to make a little money for herself. But she receives a strange, unexpected message, that appears to be a plea for help, but from whom and from where is not at all clear. Nothing more than that is required to engage Kim's dynamic determination to relentlessly investigate until she has got to the bottom of the matter, and has helped whoever it was asked for help, and brought to justice whomever it was instigated the need for help. There are moments of mirth along the way, and some opportunities for the odd romantic interlude too.
Twenty-year-old amateur sleuth Kim returns from a well-earned Christmas Holiday, definitely one year older but not all that much wiser. Her business affairs appear to be going well, but she misses the challenge and thrill of a good case to solve. Just as she is getting truly bored with administrating her businesses, a fascinating case arises, and she is called into action by her fiancé in the Carabinieri. A terrible death has occurred, and the police have most of the facts at their disposal, but a crucial period in the relevant timeline is unaccounted for. As ever, Kim is called in to solve the insoluble.

An innocent woman has been brutally murdered, and the only credible suspect, her husband, has a solid alibi. Having exhausted every lead and route of enquiry, the forces of law and order reluctantly turn to their last resort, and appeal for assistance from that most unlikely of sources, Kim. In her usual chaotic and sociable style, Kim sets out on her noble quest for justice. Once she is on the trail, it is inevitable that the culprit will be cornered and caught. There may be a few deviations along the way, and even some comedic situations, but she will collar her villain in the end.
