The Love Books of Ovid is a compilation of four works by the Roman poet Publius Ovidius Naso, commonly known as Ovid. The book includes the Amores, Ars Amatoria, Remedia Amoris and Medicamina Faciei Femineae. The Amores is a collection of love poems that explore the joys and sorrows of love affairs. The Ars Amatoria is a guidebook on the art of seduction and provides advice on how to win the affections of a lover. The Remedia Amoris is a sequel to the Ars Amatoria and offers advice on how to overcome the pain of a failed love affair. Finally, the Medicamina Faciei Femineae is a poem about beauty treatments for women.
