Fresh from college and ready to prove herself, Alex Rhodes takes over her parents' beloved Oak & Rye Market, the largest grocery store in Oakridge. Alex vows to secure the top spot at the Thanksgiving Festival, which includes beating Finley, the grumpy farmer. But just as sparks-and tempers-ignite, a bigger threat looms: a polished corporate chain set on stealing the festival spotlight and uprooting local traditions.

Forced to put aside their differences, Alex and Finley find themselves fighting side by side. But as the crisp autumn nights draw them closer, the line between enemies and lovers blurs. Can they protect the heart of their town without losing their own?
