A lonely island mouse rescues two small kittens and a bunny during a terrible storm in Kahaluu and sets to work raising her little family under the Mango tree, teaching them gratitude and kindness. When an artist and her two girls move to the hill, the mouse realizes that she, too, has talent, and helps the artist finish her paintings by night.
