For the first time in my life, I experienced myself as an asylum seeker. For my well-being, I had to flee from Hoofddorp, the capital of Municipality Haarlemmermeer, to Amsterdam, where I am grateful to live. I hoped it would be short-term, but it has been more than seven years since I left.

My official file is being held by administrators in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer and by the tax authorities. For more than seven years, neither has been transparent about what falsities are included in my file. I've had to pay taxes that are not mine because of this incorrect information about me and even about my father, who has never come to the Netherlands. I do not know who added this information, since I cannot see the file, but I have to carry this as my basic registration.

Meanwhile, the lives of my children and me are in great danger. With this letter, I call on the municipality of Haarlemmermeer to be transparent about my basic registration. Municipality of Haarlemmermeer, what do you know about me? I hold you responsible for my children's dangerous situation, since you are not being transparent about my file. Mayor, why won't you Show Me My File?
