Despite his misgivings Nathaniel accepts the advice, but when they reach Redemption he regrets it as Dwight has made another mistake. He misread the message and they have to escort ten dangerous prisoners, not one and it's a long way back to Beaver Ridge!
At first, Nathaniel manages to stay one step ahead of the pursuing mob; but as he loses ground, he realizes he faces an even bigger problem: his prisoner could be innocent after all. . . .
