Did well in school. Check. Graduated and chose a secure career. Check. Found someone to build a family with. Check. It's about honesty in the journey of motherhood, in addition to putting your best self forward, even when it's not what others expect of you. It's about navigating each day towards feeling you are enough. And persevering in the face of failure.
Stefanie is an advocate for mental health and is hoping to normalize the conversation surrounding anxiety and depression. She is a Registered Nurse, doula, entrepreneur, and writer. Tackling the stigma around mental health disorders is the first step in finding self-love. Stefanie shares her story in hopes of doing just that for someone else. She highlights that there was not just one instant that deviated her life onto a path of anxiety and depression. She speaks her truth as a way to connect to readers so they know they are not alone and, in reality, they are enough.
