Mr Robinson was born in Bloomington, Illinois. He was a teacher of History at University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University. He founded the New School for Social Research. He is an Author of PETRARCH, THE FIRST MODERN SCHOLAR MEDIAEVAL AND MODERN TIMES THE NEW HISTORY, etc. But, 'The Mind in the Making' is his best written work. About book: This is an essay-not a treatise-on the most important of all matters of human concern.
