A tender story where a little yellow hippo with one red ear discovers the world during a magical night outside the zoo.
Curious and a little clumsy, the young hippo meets new friends, a glowing flower, and a river to cross. Along the way, he learns that being different also means being unique. Through small challenges, he realizes he is much stronger than he thought, finding the courage to try, the strenght to persevere, and the joy of being himself.
Page after page, children will follow his night-time adventure beneath a full moon. Except for the opening scene in daylight, the entire story takes place at night, in a gentle, starry atmosphere.
Each illustration was lovingly drawn by hand: a short story featuring 20 colorful illustrations (without text) and 20 pages of written story (around 8 to 9 sentences per page), in a soft, expressive cartoon style.
