Over the past 50 years, Pat McAllister has been making deals as a real estate broker. He has appraised and bought countless acres of property, franchised hotels, and created unique restaurants. McAllister's first land purchase was 25 acres in Chillicothe, Ohio which eventually led to the purchase of hundreds of acres that he developed into subdivisions throughout Ross County providing housing for hundreds of families.
His first commercial real estate purchase started with only 45 acres that resulted in the creation of the most extensive business district in Chillicothe and the site of numerous hotels, restaurants, shopping areas, and businesses. His vision transformed this south central Ohio town into a hustling, bustling area where visitors gather and residents enjoy year-round.
He eventually branched out to other Ohio cities where he and his partners invested in improving the hospitality and dining options these towns had to offer in the way of luxurious hotels and exceptional theme restaurants.
This book follows McAllister's journey as he pursued a career in a difficult industry fraught with financial fluctuations and legal challenges. His story of success is not without sacrifice and struggle as he recovered from failure to get back on track and to ultimately make it to the top of this industry.
