Perhaps I had better explain this method of communication, as it seems less familiar to most people than automatic writing. The ouija board, which I use, is an ordinary card table covered in green baize. On this the letters of the alphabet are placed; they are cut out singly and arranged in any convenient order. A sheet of plate glass is laid over the table and the letters.
