Our Little Korean Cousin is a children's book written by H. Lee M. Pike. The book tells the story of a Korean boy named Nam-Il and his daily life in Korea. The book explores the cultural and social practices of Korea, including traditional clothing, food, and customs. The author provides insight into the Korean education system, religion, and family life. The book is designed to educate children about Korea and its people in a fun and engaging way. It is a great resource for parents and educators who want to teach children about different cultures and promote cultural understanding. The book is illustrated with beautiful images that bring the story to life and make it more engaging for young readers. Overall, Our Little Korean Cousin is an excellent children's book that teaches children about Korea and its people in a fun and engaging way.On opening the door there was seen standing at the entrance a man rather poorly clad in the white garments worn by nearly all the people of Korea. But upon his head, instead of the ordinary cone-shaped hat worn by the men of the country, was a very peculiar structure. It was made of straw and was about four feet in circumference. Its rim nearly concealed the man's face, which was further hidden by a piece of coarse white linen cloth stretched upon two sticks and made fast just below the eyes. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
