The central theoretical argument of this book is that peace is an inevitable asset that is highly required in every life, family, nation, continent and globally. As far as conflict issues arise almost on daily basis, peacemaking, peacekeeping and peacebuilding need to be appreciated by all humans. Stakeholders for peace building - the political actors, military/uniform organizations, professionals in areas of endeavor, the labor and trade unions, religious and traditional leaders, must all arise to the tasks of making and building peace in Africa. Peace education and creation of a culture of peace are indeed sacrosanct. Conflicts must be prevented and resolution speedily made to avoid lingering and destructions. In all of these, God, the Creator and Maker of mankind, and Jesus the Prince of peace must be reverenced and fully recognized in the light of the Scripture as the Giver of peace. Genuine peace and peace building are therefore dependent on the application of God's word and effectual functioning of the Holy Spirit in everyone's life.
