Penruddock of the White Lambs is a historical novel written by Samuel Harden Church in 1902. The story takes place in Holland, England, and America, following the life of a young man named Penruddock who is a member of the White Lambs, a secret society dedicated to the restoration of the Stuart monarchy in England. Penruddock is forced to flee to Holland after his involvement in a failed uprising against the government. In Holland, he becomes involved in the Dutch struggle for independence from Spain, and later travels to America where he fights in the American Revolution. Throughout his adventures, Penruddock remains devoted to the cause of the White Lambs, and ultimately returns to England to continue the fight for the restoration of the Stuart monarchy. The novel offers a thrilling tale of adventure, romance, and political intrigue, set against the backdrop of some of the most significant events in European and American history. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
