The Holy Gnostic Liturgy of the Pleromic Light is the central Eucharistic rite of the Apostolic Church of the Pleroma - a fully realized expression of Christian Gnostic theurgy that draws upon the Western esoteric tradition, classical Gnostic theology, and the apostolic sacramental inheritance of the Independent Sacramental Movement. The Pleromic Light Unveiled is the first published monograph to offer a detailed commentary on this rite, proceeding section by section through the Mass and examining each element in its theological, theurgical, symbolic, and alchemical dimensions.
The monograph is organized according to the three classical phases of alchemy - Black, White, and Red - which provide the interpretive framework for the entire Eucharistic operation. From the Preliminary Rites and vesting prayers through the Invocations of the Aeons and Archangels, the three Hermetic Discourses, the Asperges, Confiteor, and Act of Faith, to the Offertorium, Eucharistic Prayer, Theurgic Consecration, and Dismissal, each element of the Mass is examined with care and precision.
Among the topics addressed: the theology of the Divine Feminine and the role of Barbelo and the Holy Spirit in the sacramental economy; the Gnostic doctrine of soteriology and its contrast with Roman Catholic original sin; the significance of the Pentagrammaton and the fivefold name of Christ; the esoteric symbolism of the Temple layout and its relation to continental Freemasonry; the alchemical and theurgical significance of the liturgical vessels, vestments, incense, and sacred implements; the replacement of Old Testament lections with readings from the classical Gnostic scriptures; and the understanding of the Eucharist as the indispensable operation of spiritual regeneration - the strong meat of the theurgist - upon which all other spiritual works depend.
