As always, he manages to do so by being the kind, caring, and generous amphibian he knows himself to. As our two protagonists meander through their sometimes-complicated relationship, they learn that happiness and the love that binds them together are what truly matters in life. The Little Boy Frog may not always succeed in putting together a grandiose celebration for a holiday or birthday, but at the end of the day it is really about the time that he and his wife are able to spend together. Herein lies one of the most valuable lessons of all; as long as we surround ourselves with the ones we love the most, we are sure to find happiness and fulfillment despite the changes in our lives. This is often found in the simplest of occasions, as the Little Boy Frog often learns these things through casual conversations with his wife during Christmas or while sitting by the fire. He may not be the perfect husband, but when all is said and done, our two little frogs always know what's important, and we can all learn from their stories once again.
