A look: It thrills to look a person in the eye. For a moment the heat is on. The body is flooded. You and I are together as if we had known each other for years. What if we could now confirm this? The soul trembles before he mystery. Left and right the filmic people pass, you walk away behind me carrying part of me within you. Each of us, I imagine, nurses a turmoil. On the street there is strange music, there is risky business, frequently internal screams are heard, who dares make a contact, not about the weather or all those neutral civilities but a full and great admiration of what suddenly happens when you and I touch elementally, like wild cats in the bush, like hidden savages stripped of all cowardice. *
