Precisamos compreender quem eram os pescadores, o que significava a pesca naquela cultura, o papel da Galileia na narrativa bÃblica, e como o evento se integra ao plano redentor de Deus revelado em toda a Escritura. Essa abordagem protege contra interpretações superficiais, sensacionalistas ou pragmáticas, e garante que a leitura seja fiel ao propósito divino.
A teologia reformada nos fornece ferramentas poderosas para essa análise. Ao integrar a soberania de Deus, a centralidade da graça, a predestinação e a missão da Igreja, conseguimos perceber que a passagem não é apenas um milagre pontual, mas um modelo eterno de ação divina. Pedro não é destacado por mérito, coragem ou habilidade. Ele é chamado, transformado e enviado pelo poder de Cristo. Esse padrão se repete em toda a BÃblia: Deus escolhe instrumentos humanos, mas a glória é d'Ele, não nossa.
É nesse ponto que se torna fundamental compreender a dimensão pastoral e prática da passagem. A pesca milagrosa nos ensina sobre arrependimento: reconhecer nossa indignidade diante de Deus. Nos ensina sobre dependência: compreender que nada podemos fora da Palavra. Nos ensina sobre perseverança: confiar na fidelidade de Cristo mesmo diante das falhas humanas. E, finalmente, nos ensina sobre missão: lançar as redes da Palavra no mundo, sabendo que o fruto pertence a Deus.
