Post Crisis Clarity is an unrestricted journey through poems into the thoughts of a young girl growing up and growing through her mental illness, describing the highs and lows along the way. The pages track her slow descent into dark depression before her ascent into hope and true realization of what life is, and more importantly, what it could be.

Post Crisis Clarity is split into three parts. The first one, titled 'Adolescent Conclusions', is a look into the startling realizations that came to the author in her childhood, along with touching on her current epiphanies looking back, and also describing the beginnings of her developing love for writing. The second part, 'Mid-Catastrophe', details the worst of her battles with her mental illness that often left her barely getting by. However, in the final and third chapter of the book, called 'Post Crisis Clarity', promising reflections are told as the author writes of a time in her life where she underwent an intensive self exploration period that led to ultimately changing her for the better.

This book will not lie to you. These poems tell of an adolescent who did not live happily ever after. Instead she fought hard, against herself, and ultimately won, but not without scars. These pages speak of the deliberation she learned as she strove to flourish and embrace her differences and struggles that once threatened to drown her.

Post Crisis Clarity embraces the truthful expedition of a hurting youth who through much trials and isolation proved to persevere despite the discomfort that eventually brought much thriving.
