The author writes with authority gained through his personal experience. This book is an informative and easy-to-understand guide that covers the various responsibilities that may fall on the family, friends, or Executor of the deceased's will. It provides a comprehensive list of all the necessary and practical steps to take when making funeral arrangements and settling the affairs of a loved one who has passed away in the U.K. As the Executor of my father's estate in the U.S., I found the steps very similar. Additionally, the book includes valuable online resources to help facilitate this process. The author also devotes chapters to the various major religious funerals and one chapter to the secular funeral, providing readers with an understanding of what to expect. It's a very informative book.
