Praise, worship, thankfulness, and blessing Almighty God fill the lyrics of the final sixteen Psalms. My title for this book stems from Psalm 142:5-7, which is the exact middle of the final sixteen Psalms. These three verses illustrate the transformational shift that takes the psalmist from prison to praising God wholeheartedly. But, remember, as you read through these Psalms, the psalmists did not know how their experience would end. We have the luxury of knowing their history, but they did not. So, feel their faith as they cling to God's Word. Experience their hope despite the anxiety of the unknown. Apply their lessons to your situation, and give God the superlative praise He alone is worthy to receive!
