The problem of unemployment and underemployment among higher education graduates in sub-Saharan Africa is becoming increasingly worrying, in a socio-professional context that demands a high level of professional skills for better integration into the job market. This is the raison d'être of this study, which aims to improve the quality of university training by promoting the development of concrete professional skills to respond effectively to the expectations of the professional world. The professionalization of teaching thus becomes an imperative for promoting this training. Universities must therefore draw on university standards such as the LMD system, and also advocate close collaboration with the professional world in developing educational programs and adopting pedagogical methods that ensure university teaching is based on socio-professional demand, and guarantee better professional integration of graduates equipped with concrete professional skills for better performance.
