Proverbs are Poems is the eighth volume of poems from the series called The Epistles. The volume was inspired by my oldest brother, Alfredo, who told me my poems and my writings reminded him of proverbs. For him I wrote them. These works are meant to be a soul seeking, soul searching experience as one reads them and opens the mind to the possible. The words are written to convey images that I have conjured as I thought. Those thoughts I have attempted to put forth in words and thus the poems. These poems are my journey, but I am sharing them in the hopes that you will also take such a journey. Each journey we undertake brings us to new places and finds for us new faces and perhaps old friends. It is the reason we are here. Or so I believe. In your beliefs may you find what you seek. Journey there.
